Young Workers in Argentina Lack Social Benefits

Results from a survey in Buenos Aires, Argentina show that young workers (ages 15 to 29) in that city lack social protection benefits in their first job. According to this survey 83% of respondents declared not being discounted pensions contributions, while 81% said they do not have health coverage. Moreover, 57% declared having a job not related to their studies and 58% said they were overqualified for their job.
According to the International Labors Organization (ILO) young are the firsts in losing their job during crisis and the last in being employed during expansions.
