The National Bureau of Economic Research of the United States just published this book edited by Brown, Liebman and Wise. The book includes several papers that analyses the changing economic and demographic environment in which social insurance programs benefiting elderly households will operate and that suggests proposals of reform of the social security scheme. It is a must read book by social security specialist.
