Regarding the fees that Pension Fund Managers charge in reformed pension systems, at the CISS we calculated the charge ratio, the best known measure for this purpose, for several countries. As can be seen in the next graph, fees are still very high, ranging from the regulated 1% in Argentina (before the recent reform) to almost 4.5% in Dominican Republic. By country, after Argentina, follows El Salvador (1.4%), Colombia (1.6%), Chile and Peru (1.8%), Mexico (1.9%), Uruguay (2.4%), Costa Rica (3.6%), and Bolivia (3.9%).
