Social Security Week in Belize
On September 2009, during the XXV General Assembly of the CISS, the Guatemala Declaration was signed to contribute to making social security strategies better, more efficient, inclusive, and sustainable, at all levels. Several activities were carried out during this week in Belize, intended to disseminate information regarding the purpose of Social Security and its core functions, as well as regarding registration, contributions, and benefits through presentations made to students, employees and employers, information booths in shows, and crossword puzzles.
