Poverty across the Americas

The following chart shows the number of children living in poverty across the Americas. There is a great difference between countries: in Honduras, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Bolivia and Guatemala more than 60% of children are poor; while in Canada less than 20% of children are poor. In all countries, the percentage of children living in poverty is higher than the percentage of the whole population living in poverty.
