On November 26 Dr. Vanda Pignato, Secretary for Social Inclusion and First Lady of the Republic of El Salvador inaugurated in San Salvador the seminar "Demographic Dividend and Social Protection: Rights and Inclusion of women, youth, migrants, elderly, people who live in poverty, indigenous and Afro-descendants." She established that one of her functions is to support these initiatives with the aim of improving the quality of life, not just young people but of Salvadorans in general.
The seminar was organized by the Inter-American Conference on Social Security (CISS), the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in accordance with the Ministry of Social Inclusion of El Salvador.
